First fall day!!! 45 degrees this morning. Brrrr!

Kylie's Birthday

Kylie's birthday was wonderful! Our final count was 32 people - 18 of those were kids. Wow, what a fun time!

Kylie loves Peter Pan and what a better party to have than Tinkerbell! At first I was fearful as it was a girly theme. Since some of Kylie's friends are boys, I wanted something to counter all of the girlieness, and pirates are a sure fire winner. The party took shape and soon became a dress up party as well.

Can a day get any better?

Woke up bright and early - set off to run a 5K. Details here! I arrived right when people were starting to drive in. Nothing like a bunch of runners hovering around the starting line!

After coming home, we set off to a local open house of some sort where they had games, bounce houses and a firetruck! The kids were a bit hesitant but soon jumped in. Here they are in front of it with their hats!

It was such a beautiful day outside, I shooed my kids out the front door and can I tell you that I haven't seen them for hours? There isn't that much to do but I found them like this.

I love it that they enjoy each other's company day in and day out. What good friends they are.
